If I read it correctly I believe he has ray 10's but the other guy was suggesting a new set with a different offset? Either way spacers won't be the end of the world

Sorry, should’ve implied ANOTHER $800+ on a different set of wheels.

SCS wheels are so popular nowadays I know people have a hard enough time getting their hands on a set let alone getting two

Oh yeah, well I mean I don't think it would be too hard to sell our ray10s! Been sold out for months now. But you probably don't want to go through the trouble of selling them and buying new ones (which the f5 are sold out too anyway)
Are you wanting the spacers ONLY for the look and not because of rubbing?

Very true. Took me abou 3-4 months before I finally purchased them before they sold out.

Strictly looks! I don’t do off-roading too much. Maybe when I go out scouting during season or want to go shooting in the mountains. Other than that my truck stays on pavement.

Spacers would be the route then.

It's my understanding that negative offset affects weight distribution and wheel bearing wear similar to that of wheel spacers. I think there's gotta be some wheel spacer specific threads on this forum somewhere so try and hunt them down. I think you'd be fine with 1" spacers give or take. It sounds like everyone on this site is sponsored by Spydertrax so might as well go with that brand. Lol. Good luck!

Ray10's do not have the same offset options as f5's. There is no 16" 3.5 ray 10 or anything similar in 17" either. What are you talking about?

Exactly. 17in ray 10 is -10 and 17 f5 is -38. I might sell my ray 10 to buy f5 and eliminate spacers

Awesome, that’s exactly the look I’m going for. My tires are barely outside of the well so it’ll end up like yours roughly.
    Much appreciated dude!

It’ll definitely sling mud and water though

Read the thread. People on here blow my mind. You’d think a forum dedicated to bad ass off road trucks would be a little less sensitive, but I guess not.

You should do what ever you want to your truck, unless THEY paid, their opinion carries little weight. I think it would make an already rad wheel look even better. Also, SCS is releasing the ray-10’s with -38mm offset this fall!!

If it's strictly for looks then you're probably going to love the deep dish Ray10 once they do come out. That is if you're a big fan of the current Ray10 design. The great thing about our wheels is that they hold their resale value pretty good compared to other brands so you might not take that much of a lost. We're shooting for a late fall/winter time frame.

Your truck wouldn't be so dirty if you didn't have the spacers

    Jk man, nice truck!

What size tires are you running there? I have the Stealth 6 wheels on 265/70r17. 2013 with 2.5 inches of lift. Wanting to know if I put 1.25" spacers on do I need to do a CMC?
