Second México hot wheels convention Porsche has arrived. Two more on the way.

 

1/64 Volksrods. One with ragtop and single stinger exhaust the other with roof rack and dual exhaust.

 

Greatful Dead 1/64 got this years ago but has no name on it.

 

1993 sema show 1/64

 

Any of you guys use guides to judge value of your cars, if so what do you use.

 

you can buy a few books or if you go to shows enough and check auctions you can get an idea what average is.

 

You can also check with the websites but since interests change they aren’t always accurate as to values but you can usually find enough details to be able to further search for information.

Case in point: the Tesla roadster car value skyrocketed when Musk shot his into space.

Also note that these are community driven databases so they aren’t complete.

Wow! What a great ma call to come home to today.

The other two Mexico convention cars arrived and I’m in love with the purple one.



I also have an excellent condition 3 pack red P911. It’s not a unicorn, but good condition examples are hard to come by.



Another 914-6 arrived meaning there is only one more for me to find to be current on that casting.



And three more 911 GT2s. The blue one looks great.



And last but certainly not least. A beautiful redline club RSR in Gulf Racing livery. It too will come out of the box but I have to do some dissasembly with hand tools as they never intended for people like me to open them.

 

Very nice G.T. that gulf one is pretty cool!

"Gassers" are always cool. They did a nice job on the graphics on that one.

Today’s mail call.

A Cayman S that I mistakenly bought a second time which will now be trade bait. A Zamac Carrera GT, and an error Carrera GT with the axles reversed so that the larger back wheels are in the front. And because the front wheel well is smaller they don’t turn at all.

And keeping with the trend of saving the best for last a glittery green Porsche 930 that came with two different types of wheels, screamers which were a type of off-road tire that made a screaming noise going down the orange track and this one with the black walls. I’ve had the screamers wheel version for years but this one has eluded me since about 2001 when I found the first one and learned that this one existed as well.
