    It's pointless IMO and you'll drag it more than you would without it. Before I got an aftermarket bumper, I kept this in my hitch and it was the lowest hanging point, and would be the first thing to drag. It's a solid chuck of steel so it could take it with ease. That's what I'd recommend.
