I’ve got a neighbor that has birds pouring out of his house like it’s fucking raining. Stupid things shit all over my car. It’s gotten to a point where I don’t even put the car cover on because I have to wash the shit off that too.

 

Yeah I have a feeling this will get old fast

Hey @otis24. Just did my tundra brakes today and was wondering what you noticed after doing them. The biggest thing I'm noticing is that it takes much more pedal travel before they start grabbing. Normal?

I didn't notice any difference in pedal travel. If there was, it was minimal.

 

Guess il try bleeding them again. Or maybe @jberry813 was right and I need an ABS bleed....

 

I don't have ABS on my truck, but I don't see why you'd have to bleed anything other than the new calipers.

 

I wanted to flush my brakes since I was going to have the system open anyway. The fluid was nasty. But while flushing (using a suction bleeding on the right rear) I ran out of fluid in the master. Let it bleed for quite a bit longer on that one. Then used it on all other corners. Then manually bleed each corner 3 pumps each. But it seems like the pedal travels a lot more than before.

Wondering if when I let it go dry that an air pocket gathered in the ABS or something....

 

My pedal travels a lot further as well. Do you have stainless brake lines? Heard it helps.
