Update - So spoke with WeatherTech customer service and explained the issue I had with the passenger front side mat, not a problem - they made it right immediately by offering to send a return shipping label via email. Thanks WT.

Anyone else who ordered, please update with your results. Perhaps I just received a really loose/screwed up mat.

Seems like i remember my dad having some in his f150 and they either came with Velcro sticky tape to put on the carpet trim to hold then in place, or he just did it himself.

Yep, nothing in box to 'secure' the passenger and rear mats. Talking to the rep, she said other than the driver's side - there wouldn't be anything to secure them.

I feel the same way about my Weathertechs. They do the job but I always found the Husky's fit better and were a nicer mat material (more rubbery, less plasticy) haha

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Maybe I made the right choice in going with Husky! Had them for about a year now and they still look great and have been used and abused by Montana winters, muddy boots, and spilt fast food drinks a time or two in stride! My carpets are well protected still!

good question. didn't even try. I would say no. I have my son's carseat in the middle and the 'seat protector' (lol if you can call it that) has a pocket right there at the cup holders. I went to move it away when I was the mat and while I did not try to open the cup holder I do seem to remember it was right up against it. Cannot say with 100% certainty though.

Any updates? Did they add velcro or the nubs?

    Thanks.

I ordered a set. The lack of grip is an issue on the passenger side for sure, not so much on the driver's. I'm going to have to rig something up with velcro to keep them stationary.

The backseat part is great, and yes, if you tuck it in properly the rear seat cupholder does work.

This. Definitely will need to add your own velcro.

I ordered front mats from a 2004 and they fit fine in my 1996 mtm.

BOO. That's not cool. They aren't giving them away, I would think some nubs on the back wouldn't be too hard to add.

On Amazon you can buy do it yourself clips to hold mats in place. I used them on my Huskies and they work fine

Anyone find a good solution for adding teeth/grip to these mats? I have some automotive grade adhesive-backed velcro strips for dash mats that might work.
