I was wondering if my truck bed was missing a part of the plastic factory bed rail caps that goes across the bulk head under the cab rear window? When I had a topper on it I had to fab a piece so that it would seal. Now I am about to get a tonneau and got to thinking about that. Is it missing or what do other folks use to seal there? Thanks for the input.

Your side rails are about an inch taller than the bulkhead right?
If thats ur concern, its normal.

I went and bought a 3rd gen bulkhead bar hoping it would bolt in and make things flush. It didnt work, it woulda been way too tall at the bulkhead, so i returned it.

That said, i run a solidfold 2.0 and its very water resistant. It has a very thick bulb type seal on that end and does a great job. Its been 3yrs roughly and i only get a slight amount of water on the wall of the bed when i use a pressure washer on the truck.

Yea that sounds and looks like a great Idea. I have a machine shop and could fab something but I like that better. That is a win win for me. Thank you so much for that input, very helpful.
