I’ve been looking for a 33x10.5x17 as well and these are the tires I’ve decided on:

    34x10.5x17 BFG KO2s

I’m currently running C rated LT 265/70/r17 BFG KO2s which are supposed to measure 31.7” but when mounted and on the truck measure closer to 31” flat. The 34x10.5x17 are D rated LT tires and they aren’t actually 34 inches, despite being labeled and sold as such. BFG claims they are 33.5” and people who install them are claiming 33” give or take when mounted and on the truck. Yeah, they’re expensive but I’ve had my current KO2s for about 25k miles and I’ve still got 11/32nds of tread left on all four and even with the aggressive tread pattern they are still quiet and comfortable.

What width of wheel would you run these on. My wheels are only 8 in wide and that has concerned me some too

I’m running the factory 17x7 inch TRD Sport wheels on 265s right now. 265 equates to just over 10” so I’m not worried about mounting a 10.5” wide tire on the same wheels. That and if you look at the specs from BFG, these will fit wheels between 7” - 9” wide.

Stock TRD Sport wheels have a 30mm offset. I’m running 1 inch spacers which has bumped them out closer to a 5mm offset.

Similarly I'm wanting to use the same tires you were talking about. I happen to be running the 17 inch wheels off of an FJ Cruiser mine are 8 in wide but also a 15 degree offset and I also have one and a quarter inch spacers I wonder how that setup would work in my case as opposed to what you are doing?

I’ve been leaning towards buying the OEM TRD SEMA wheels which are 17x7 with a 5mm offset and ditching the spacers. Those would sit almost exactly where my current stock TRD Sport wheels with 265/70/r17s and spacers are, which is just about flush with the fenders, maybe a hair past them. With the wider 10.5” tires they may stick out a few millimeters more but I wouldn’t want to go any further out than that.

I just bought the truck not exactly sure of the mods.
    Hello All,
I’ve got 33 12.5 R17 muddies ( they came with truck when I bought it).I’m considering going to 10.5 all terrain. What other ideas can y’all add?
    Thanks
