Amazon was the cheapest place I could find them when I purchased a few months ago.

That’s a lot of good info,
I’m sure depending on elevation it’s a possibility,
This seller is in Denver 6000 feet high, very different than sea level.
Gadget says you need a pigback for the 305cc.

I wonder how many here are running just the 305cc with supercharger and no ECU mods.
    Or fuel pump upgrade.

I have one. It's a really nice kit that I installed in hopes of making my shifting smoother and it did exactly that. The transmission shifts smoother than it ever has in its life - no more fighting with it to get it in gear. I was at the point of considering a new transmission prior to the install. Many people here have experienced an improvement by installing only the Marlin plastic seat and a new bushing - both of which are included in the Marlin short-throw kit - so I couldn't tell you if it's worth the money for the entire kit or not, but it worked for me. Took a month or two to really break in and get buttery smooth but I noticed an improvement right away. Also switched to Redline MT-90 fluid shortly before, and that helped a small amount as well.

There’s a lot that’s stayed the same and also changed in 31 years.

I can’t wait until I have a 2nd gen to add to the family.

I've used these they work pretty good, but I have had them pull out when holding heavy items. I don't think they would be strong enough to support bed rails and associated hardware.

Maybe you got a heavier duty version. I dunno.

I guess I never noticed. Is there a chance the bolt end and the nut end may have different size cams? If you showed a pic of the different year bolts or nuts side by side it would help.

I always find these counter intuitive. You adjust with the nut and tighten down the bolt. Seems backwards.

Here’s some pics I took of the cams to show the slightly different size before reinstalling. They do take a min to figure out. They were the same size on bolt and nut end, just not big enough to fill the new cam gussets.

At first I thought I may have received incorrect parts. Then I pulled out the spares.

    DD8720A4-60F6-43FE-BA5F-FBD1BF3793F0.jpg

Also compared the size on a couple 4runners, a 98 & 2002 (family fleet) and they all had the larger sized cams.

No biggie, just didn’t plan to have that new hardware on hand. I’ll get the gussets installed eventually.

I replaced a cracked door handle and replaced my clutch fluid so I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now.

Still on the to-do-list is figure out how to install this hateful little clutch pedal bushing and figure out how these dust covers fit on the starter. My first attempt to just shove them in the hole did not work.

There from Total Chaos. Got them in the group buy. They’re the correct gussets but I must have an oddball truck since it’s an early year.

    From a TW member:
"Don't bother me when I'm eating asshole."

    Totally different with a comma:
"Don't bother me when I'm eating, asshole."
