    Hi,

I recently bought a tonneau cover thinking it'll be easy to get a hold of the bed rail pins, bed rail for the oem tonneau cover as well as the back long piece on the bed in the middle. The dealers I have called can't provide me with the tools I need to use the cover. Any ideas how I can get them

    Thank you

I have a factory installed tonneau and it looks like the pins are built into the bed and the bed liner is molded around the pins. So im not sure if you can add a factory tonneau

You can buy all the pieces separately but it will cost you a pretty penny. It will cost you several hundred for the rubber seals, pins, center catcher, bolts, covers, and the pre-cut bed rail covers.

Ask the person you bought the cover from if they’ll swap the hardware and bed rail covers with your uncut ones

Unfortunately the person only had the cover and I was hoping it would be easy to get the accessories.

Buy the 5 pin brackets and one bolt down one plus the one rest piece that goes in the middle of the front rail and cut the bed rail caps yourself.
Try to locate someone that has a torno cover to see where you cut the rails exactly.
The bolt holes for the pins are already there with nuts attached on all the tacomas under the rail.
I know cause I recently sold mine and swapped it all over

For item 19 and 20 type 1 is the pin you will need 5 of each for type 2 is the bolt location you will need one of each. The attached pic (from another user here on TW) shows everything u will need to order in you just have the TC and nothing else. Some say the pre cut caps are available but I have not found them. I plan on cutting mine and just putting some door edge trim on the cut edges for a more finished look (unless I can cut it and make it look like butter) some pictures I have seen on the item 20 looks like it would go over the bed cap and make it look seamless but I don't think it does if you look at 2nd pic (alao borrowed from TW) it would be nice if u could put part 20 on top of bed cap and it would look flawless .
