Nothing like getting up at 3:15 to get to work to torch stubborn cab mounts before I start work. The two damn nuts that hold the mount on won’t brake loose. I wanted to remove the mounts, cut them shorter and put them back. They are being stubborn so I’ll f’n torch them. Nothing like burning rubber smell first thing in the morning.

Do not use a torch for the mounts. That rubber loves to burn. I was hoping it would melt more then burn. I ended up pulling out the big grinder and grinding the mount down to where I wanted it. That worked well. I’ll post pics later.

Don't forget to account for the sag... You'll probably get 3+ inches from the current height

you won't get 3" with the 881's alone, and they will sag a bit if you add a bumper and a winch.

it's only going to get worse.
Several years back there was a couple assholes in a Jeep and Dodge Ram that tried something similar and got the vehicles stuck on a sidehill, made national headlines.

Unfortunately you're right. Park county has a fire ban and over the past weekend some fucks started a fire at their campsite, left it unattended while hiking then came back.

They said... And i quote. "The fire ban is for park county, i don't live in park county". A double tap should've been the counter argument.

But I'm willing to bet that she didn't get a $1k fine like she should've because it would've hurt her feelers.

Yep, Looks like side trail in Yankee Boy, be sure to head early, besides Golden hour it gets crazy crowded quick (Any vehicle can get up there).

Also, check out American Basin- Similar to Yankee Boy- flowers, rugged backdrop (off the Alpine Loop), Ice Lake Basin, Mill Creek Basin, Porphyry Basin (Has a Waterfall depending on run off), The Cimmarons (just North & East of Ouray, Think John Wayne Westerns)

One day I hope to get something like this

    Speaking of.

Are there any waterfalls, lakes, ponds that people are permitted to jump into? Clean location, not so crowded would be ideal (not asking a lot, right?).
