Finally had time to get in and troubleshoot an error code of the Triumph. Got it sorted and the old gal is purring! Once I buttoned her all back up, it was time for a bath. She is so much happier now.

Sill have a few more little things to do, but she runs, and I can ride her.

    Change the oil
one front turn signal bulb is out.
replace the sliders, they were once back, but they sun has turned them grayish.
A new brake reservoir has been ordered.
Need to get a new brake lever.

Wow.... so I am horrible at updating this. Maybe it all that is going on, maybe it is lack of funds... maybe it's the booze! Who knows!

    Updates:
Tacoma: Nothing new. Have been driving her only once and a while. Poor gal.

R1100RT: So while on my way up the hills to do some training for work, she lost ignition. Not sure why, I have power, just acts like the kill switch or kick stand is engaged. I have her on the lift, but haven't had time to investigate.

Buell: Still for sale, I am in no hurry. I know I am asking a good price for what she is, so I am just taking my time, the right buyer will show up. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/mcy/d/2007-buell-blast/6355324886.html

Triumph: She is awesome, nothing new.

Triumph T100: My wife loves this bike. She is having fun learning how to maintain her. I need to get a Center stand to make weekly chain lube easier. Other than that, she needs nothing (Oh, don't tell my wife, but I do have a mod list for it....haha)

4Runner: Just rotated the tires, hammered down the pinch welds, deleted the sway bar, and installed speed bleeders. I am waiting on a check and then I am going to finally lift it! Thinking Toytech Lift at 3" and new UCAs.

Maybe I will actually upload some pics soon.

Everything came and and I made a littl progress tonight. Driver side suspension installed, and passenger side removed. Will finish front suspension and then do the front brake upgrade. Then flip it around in the garage and do the rear.

Starting out, from center of cap to fender was 18.5” front and 19.5” rear.

I am selling my shell. I'll give TW a week or two and the post to CL. Selling for two reasons, one I have an issue with my ham radio. Just the shell or just my rear bumper and everything works fine. The combo of my rear bumper (relentless wrap around with dual swing outs) and my shell causes some weird interference. Second, My brother has offered to sell his bike to me, now I am not going to get into details about his situation, but this is a way of him asking for financial help from me. So I am selling a few things to raise some money. The front suspension on the 4Runner has taken all my "spare" money.

Its an ARE shell. I carpeted it, replaced the interior light, added tracks to the roof, replaced the locking systems, custom side windows coverings. Comes with AZTW and Tacomaworld.com stickers. Asking $500

Today the Taco got some love, nothing major, just little things building up.

-Fixed mic extension cable for ham radio. This broken several months ago, but I kept forgetting to get buy some RJ-12 ends. Finally remembered to them. Easy fix.

    -Replaced AC control lights.

-Fixed broken wire for strobe lights.

-Labeled fuse panel (this was a big one that has been needed for a long time).

    -Vacuumed out truck.

    OK, a few updates...

I bought another motorcycle... I know, I know... I might have a sickness.

    DA7EB0F3-F992-4BAE-8D3E-BE2FE82C32C1.jpg

It is the blue on the right, 2009 BMW F650GS. With the standard seat, I can ride it comfortable, and with the low seat, my wife can ride it. It need some love and attention as It has been outdoors for the last 9 month, in CA coastal areas. But nothing I can’t take care of. The Orange bike on the left will hopefully be finding a new home in a month or two. Just no room in the garage for 4 bikes.

    5F7DD2C3-74F6-4D0E-817C-BCFE3A3E6495.jpg

All 3 of my kids think this is THEIR bike.... haha, silly kids... GET A JOB!

The shell on my truck sold. Thank god, I need it out of the garage too. Now I can put the tire carrier back on.

While driving out to CA to get the GS, I started throwing CECs for O2 sensor. Time to order those.

I have all the parts/tools for the timing belts. So very soon I will starting in on those.

As a proud husband, I want to congratulate my wonder wife, not only did she get her HAM license this month, but also her MBA with Honors. How she did it, while raise 3 kids, dealing with me, and working full time... I don’t know. But she is Amazing!

Got tired of tripping over the receiver in the garage, so I finally got some new bolts and installed it. Trying to make room to do my timing belt.

Still need to do the wiring.

    OK, a few updates.

    4Runner:
    -New oil Cap :woot:

    Tacoma:
Finally got around to do the timing belt. A few TW guys came over and gave me a hand. I followed Timmy the Toolman's video guide for this.

The last time it was changed was at 120k miles and I am now at 304k. Let me say that 184k miles is to long to go.

    Timing Belt - 1.jpg

I originally tried not to pull the A/C unit, but the back idler pulley tensioner bolt stripped. so I had to pull the A/C and replaced the bolts with hex heads bolts. It wasn't that hard to pull the A/C and mounting bracket, just use a large screwdriver or something to hold it out of the way.

    Parts
    -Cam seals
    -Crank seal
    -Crank bolt
    -Idler tensioner
    -Idler pulley x2
    -Water pump
    -Thermostat
    -Timing Belt
    -Radiator cap
-Coolant hose in back of intake
    -PCV and grommet
    -A/C belt
    -P/s belt
    -Alternator Belt

Also, took this opportunity to rebuild the power steering pump, $32 kit from the dealership. So worth it.

I still have to do the 4runner's timing belt. No marking on the engine about when it was last done, and since it is at 220k miles, I need to do it soon.

Next up for the Tacoma is all drive line seals and then valve covers.

4Runner got a new brake booster today. Only took 30 mins to install.

Timing belt and p/s rebuild coming soon, as I am thinking about selling the 4Runner for something slightly bigger for the family.

Well, I think it is time for a title change! I feed the 4Runner some herbal stuff from Japan and it grew!

Sold the 4Runner and picked up a 2002 Sequoia SR5 4WD. This thing is nice, so much more room for the kids in the back. V8 engine! 4WD! Actually has cruise control, why any vehicles is sold without it, I don’t know. I got a really good deal on it, mainly because the rear hatch had some issues: a major dent, window wouldn’t roll down, and you couldn’t open it.
Before I even took ownership of the Sequoia (aka The Tree, kids call it Tree House), I made a few calls and found a color matched rear hatch, complete (minus latch handle) at a local salvage yard. I had to work, so the next day @llibrm drove my wife and kids down to the place to pick it up. Once I got home, I started right in on it. With my wife’s help, we had the old one off and the new one working within a couple of hours. Wash the windows, add an AZTW sticker and bob’s your uncle.

Other than debaging (vehicle has gold, new hatch has silver) and going full geek on the entertainment system, this will stay stock... for now.

Center diff mod (same as grey wire in 2nd gen tacos) is being planned. But not much else than that.
