If you can find a steal on a mathews/hoyt then do it, but every bow is different so I'd go into archery country or double g archery in Georgetown and shoot some different brands. The tech is so good these days that you can get an awesome budget bow like a diamond or pse. Just depends on which one fits you the best. I've found the guys at Double G archery to be most helpful and fairest priced.

I'd honestly start with a used setup or a slightly cheaper one. Just to see if you like it or stick with it. I was looking for that and then there was a going out of business sale that lead me to my bow.

    http://compoundbowchoice.com/brands/strother/wrath-sho/review/

company was being bought out at the time by Obsession bows so they were clearing inventory. Got it for like ~$300 new. Really like it a lot.

@Mrguitarguy01 now is a great time to snag a good used bow in the offseason. Sometimes pawn shops have no clue what they have and its been sitting on their shelves for too long and you can get a heck of a deal that way.

I wish I was more qualified to answer that but I shot diamond, PSE, Bear, Mathews, Hoyt and Bowtech this past year when shopping around. I settled with bowtech and just recently sold my other bowtech to @lilred95

Can't really go wrong with any of the brands listed above. The new Bear bows are off the charts

    Hope this helps

EDIT: Everything spoken for. Will update if that changes.

May have a few taco-related items for sale in the next few days. Anyone interested in the following?
    Bubba Rope 7/8" x 20' (unused, originally $155) $125
    ARB CKMA12 compressor w/ wiring harness & air-up kit ($280ish original w/o air-up kit/wiring harness) $250 (incl. adapter for locker)
Slider adapter and hi-lift base plate $40 together

I'll be pulling them out of the truck tonight in anticipation of a trade in the next day or two.

Not as of yet order status just says awaiting fulfillment. They have stated not to email them huge order backlog so I’ll just wait till retirement for it. Hell Chad has been waiting longer for his front longer than myself.

Yeah, getting a little bit tired of waiting.

Where'd you order your rear bumper from again?

Me to but don’t really have any other choice I don’t wanna go thru the process of canceling an ordering from another vendor to much headache. I like supporting small businesses they have treated me right with my other stuff from them.

True it's like being married. Some days my wife drives me insane but it's ok because I don't want to deal with all the dating bullshit
