Replaced original battery after 5 years with an Autocraft Gold at 21,353 miles
Replaced the Autocraft yesterday with Toyota Lifetime battery at 28,353 miles.
After 4 years, I didn't care to push it.

I just bought a new battery for my 05 TRD Off Road because my mechanic recommended one soon. She still cranks over fine, only a little slow if it sits out overnight on a cold night...figured i'd just get one to prevent being stranded in the middle of nowhere. Anyways, I just realized that the truck still has the original in there, the sticker says 09/2004. Truck has 230k+ kms (143k miles). I think that's not bad at all, kinda want to see how long it'll actually go lol.

Is battery life best measured in years or miles?

About 4 years; I could have gotten another year out of it but I travel and the truck sits at the airport 1-2 weeks at a time.

Had an 05 Sport the OE battery lasted 9 years before I replaced it.
Wish the frame would have held up. Oh well !!

11/09/12 is when my '13 hit port, so the battery is obviously older, just not in service. Maybe 6 months?

4/11/18 I replaced it. So ~5.5 yrs in Fl heat. Maybe a physical 6 yrs old.

Acceptable for an OE battery to me.

I replaced it with an Interstate from Costco. $93 out the door, 3 year warranty.
