I can't speak for everyone, but I think it's just a "this is why we can't have nice things" kinda moment where you gotta reflect on how it makes a community look as opposed to the actual specific impact of the action.
I think the reason people get so upset is because of the size and that it represents a certain attitude towards nature.

The environmental impact angle is a hard sell, but like I said it's one of those general attitude things. Could something that big knock over a 400 year old Saguaro? Kill a hiker? Absolutely could, but that's not really the point. It's about just generally not being the "leave only tracks, and take only rubbish that other people left" kind of steward that keeps trails and shooting areas open. When I go shooting, even if it's only one trash bag and a quick walk-around, I leave with more trigger trash than I came with. I hauled out a compressor once, and I wouldn't hesitate to haul out anything I could safely carry.

I've been really circumspect about where I go wheeling not just because I'm 2WD and inexperienced... It's also because I'm not the "Can't make it? Invent a bypass!" kinda guy and I would turn around before I just bash through some brush to get around the obstacle.

:notsure: Just my take on it. Grain of salt and all that.

My spare wheel arrived. Just waiting on the other four to show up.

Odd thing happened today, AC randomly turned off and the AC light was blinking. Turned it off and back on and suddenly the AC worked again and it wasn’t blinking. Reading through the TW scriptures, likely cause is a bad relay or a compressor on its way out. None of the posts mentioned that turning it off and back made it work again.

Hoping one of y’all have had a similar experience that could chime in with possible explanations or solutions.

Funny you bring that up. I told my wife today that it probably wouldn't of gotten blown up like it did it it was a baseball sized rock being thrown.

How much you guys think something like this added to a yard would be? I can run the power to it myself. Its my first house and i have no freaking clue how much yard stuff runs. I think its roughly 15x20
