Axle wrap... coming from your drive shaft as it "springs" into motion or out of motion.

Sound like you have a basketball rolling around in your truck bed?? Thats axle wrap. VERY common. New leaf packs or AALs + HD shocks solve the problem and lifted.

It's happening at the carrier bearing. The drive shaft slips back and forth but instead of slipping gradually, it springs in and out right about the time your wheels stop turning. Very un-nerving when you first hear it eh?

I fixed mine when I lifted my truck. It just sorta went away. I did add carrier bearing shims as well after lift. VERY quiet now.

@bobrown14 i should have put “ clicking “ noise .. it’s a loud clunk/ clicking noise when I put on breaks and when taking off . It happens around 5-10mph . Sounds like a big nail stuck in the tire .. but there isn’t lol
