Just bought Fox 2.0 Fronts and rears, they say it will lift 0-3 . I found them on eBay and call my local 4x4 shop and they price matched them. So for fronts with springs and rears , out the door installed 1456$. Should have them installed next week.

Just got a quote while getting my tires installed.

Billstein 5100, OME 885s, LR UCAs, AALs, 1/4 spacer, installed with alignment he quoted me “about 500.” This of course doesn’t include parts. I’ll order those from headstrong. This sounds pretty fair to me.

Yeah, that's the # I've been quoted at two local shops. One was $500 with alignment, the other, $500 plus $75 for alignment...

Purchased Bilstein 5100, HS Coils, and Leaf Pack from Headstrong Offroad for $703 (shipped)

    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p452/HS_Coil/Bilstein_5100_kit.html

Installed at local shop in Western Maryland for $280, excluding alignment

Under $1000 for the whole package was a great deal IMO. The HS kit included the driver side spacer. Achieved 2" lift in front and rear. I am running the stock UCA without issues but plan to upgrade when the tires/wheels get upgraded.

Alignment is next weekend $80 at Sears with coupon

Can you post some pictures? I'm in St. Augustine looking for a good place to have a lift installed... my dad lives in Tampa. I could visit... Thanks, i'm curious to see how your rig looks with it's specifics.

2008 PreRunner sr5 regular cab I’m about to order adjustable 5100’s from hs and I’m thinking about getting ome883’s .set the 5100 set at zero (first mark)and according to headstrongs spec sheet the ome833s should give like 1.5 in the front .if Im remembering correctly and that was a 4x4 so it might be more . Really debating on using stock coils so not sure which route I’m gonna go since I just want my truck to sit close to level without doing the coil spacers. 150k so I need new shocks anyway .what I’m not sure about is do I need to purchase ucas or lcas with the 883s . I’m New to this been getting a lot of help from hs and a lot of members on here and I feel like I’m now on the home stretch just need a little more info so appreciate any tacoma wisdom regular cab help especially

you will not need new UCA's if you are doing what you plan. UCAs come into play when lift is ~3" and bigger tires are in order. My opinion is that you should use coils to do the lifting, not the shock--which is also your plan. You can keep the stock coils and adjust the 5100 setting but it will also stiffen up your ride since you are compressing the spring. In my particular case, I have stock UCAs with 2.5" lift in front and rear. I am running stock tires and have zero issues (aside from needing a general alignment)

Good deal I was hoping that would be the case I think I’m gonna go ahead and get the 883s there not near as expensive as I expected and I don’t like the idea of making the ride stiffer then what it already is haha so appreciate the help man

You mind if I get the name of that shop? I’ve got the same lift + LR UCA that I’m about to install.

I can do all my own installs...just looking for the best place to get new stock 1998 leafs or aftermarket such as EMU medium load leaf springs. I don't want to be "that" guy that start a new thread just to ask about leaf spring prices. Low Range has them for $363 per pair. I'm new to the Toyota scene and not sure who the trusted vendors are. Thanks.

I ended up at @HeadStrong Off-Road also and couldn't have been happier!
My local dealer, hooked me up and installed what I handed them and no additional costs to me, during my Frame swap.
    I'm totally Lovin It!!
