    Hello all!

Just bought my dream truck, a brand new 2018 in Quicksand with a blackout package! Only problem is, it has the chrome lining around the grill... SO I've been looking into cheap knockoff TRD Pro grilles on ebay, but all of the descriptions are very vague and I'm worried it won't be compatible with my TSS sensor. Does anyone know of a non-OEM grille that will accommodate my sensor? Links would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Thanks! I've read through that post a few times and all of the links seem to be broken or the manufacture sold out. :(

You'll have to get creative if you want a OEM grille. It's difficult if not impossible to get one right now.

I would like to stay away from OEM because of price. I'm just having a really hard time finding a grille on ebay that mentions anything about the TSS sensor.

It looks like most of the TRD Pro grills on eBay that is a knock-off should work with the TSS module with some modification. I've seen some people use the 2018 garnish on the knock-offs and I've seen other people just put a piece of plastic in front of the old garnish and bolt the TSS module right on with no problems. There are a lot of "How to" threads here. It just takes some time reading through them.

Alternatively, there is a seller on eBay selling OEM pre-2018 TRD Pro grills with the 2018 garnish for $499 shipped.

The SRs come with a black ring from the factory. I'd be more inclined to go that route myself. Paint is going to chip, especially up front.

I think the bezel is like $90. You are right about the paint. I guess I may just buy one. Didnt really want to remove the grille because I read that the tabs break pretty easily.

That's what I'm concerned about also. I was going to put a pro grille on, but I'm already seeing errors on my TSS with only 900 miles on the truck. I imagine getting Toyota to warranty anything regarding the sensor will be difficult if not impossible if I swapped it out to a different grille. The bezel couldn't he blamed.
