Just had my driveway sealed and it rained right after the guy left and that night ,yesterday all morning and now last night . Have 3 decent size spots that didn’t dry 100% so I sent pics to the guy and he said if I don’t like the way it looks or doesn’t dry right he will come back and do it over . Supposed to rain every day now starting Monday . Pain in the ass . It never fails :annoyed:

01 vdc 3.0 with 5mt. But it had 265k. Fun car to drive but went through 3 traction control modules. 2 under warranty. 3rd out of pocket. Had to learn can't drive it like I stole it 5k for the module. Stupid computers limiting my driving.

Prefer to get her a 2nd gen found a nice 15 dual cab long box with 6mt so she would have room for future grand kids. But first she needs a bf. 23 n still too worried about school n finances. Life is too short for those stresses.

Put a cheap Dayco serpentine belt on the Yaris right after we got it. Adjusted it several times. Still squealed sometimes. It's a common issue on the 1st gen.

Internet said put a Gates belt on it. Dead silence. Peace at last. Thank you YarisWorld.

I don't calculate my gas mileage much, but do it periodically. So yesterday, I avoided the interstate and instead took state highways (50-55 mph roads) and put about 300 miles on the Green Bean. After filling up this am and doing the math, I averaged 20.56 mpg. In 7 years of ownership, I've never cracked the 20 mpg barrier. This is with shell, Yakima rack and my sleeping platform installed.

Of course.....many times. But squealing belts are common on the gen 1 Yaris. But certain brands like Dayco and Mastercraft make it worse.
