I have a 2011 Base Access Cab with a topper on the back. All stock suspension and rides like a buckboard. Rear is 1.75" higher than front.

Just ordered a full set of 5100s and have a couple of questions. I am not interested in leveling front to rear, I like a little rake. Do not want to change springs, etc...just shocks.

What setting will provide the best ride, stock or .85"?

Does raising the front a little have any effect on the rear height?

    Thanks in advance...

5100s set at zero will give the best ride.

If you want to lift the front you should do so via the coils, not the shocks...5100s are adjustable yes but they preload the stock coil to achieve lift and that kills your ride quality. Maybe not so bad at the first setting but ideally you want to keep them at zero and get new coils for lift.
