I suppose I do nerdy things myself. I like playing games like Final Fantasy. I build computers, and use Linux as my OS. But I don't sit in crowded restaurants with a stereotypical nerd sounding voice yelling at other people about how their spells suck.

I was passed by a motorcycle group on I-90. It wasn't a group of Harleys, or even crotch rockets. Oddly it was mostly made up of maroon honda touring bikes with HID headlamps.

Billy’s daughters are dating age, he probably mounds it up in the front yard and tells the new boyfriends stories about last boyfriends mysteriously ‘disappearing’ and how well his garden is looking these days. :D

Got 25 bags last weekend at Lowe’s. Didn’t think it was much until it filled the bed of my truck. Now hopefully I can get it spread tomorrow after weeding.

Pressure washed the front stairs, side deck, and washed/waxed both cars. Then came in to find out the fridge stopped working and have to throw out everything after we went shopping last night. Fridge smelled funny this morning, by the time I noticed tonight the temp was 72 degrees inside the fridge. Quick google search shows the circuit boards are really common so at least it’s a somewhat cheap fix. Going to be expensive stocking it back up.

I've only ever had warnings but where would I look to see if the road had a study on it?

Spent all of Saturday putting in flooring in the basement. Finally starting to look good down there.

You need to do a public records request with MassDOT. If there is a special speed regulation they will send it to you. If there is not they will send you a letter saying one doesn't exist.

Picked up this little guy from my brother in law to borrow for the summer as he travels for work. Taco was struggling to find the right gear on 495 from Amesbury to Upton.
Gonna design and build a play area for the boys where a massive garden has become overgrown.

Also (was on my phone before and couldn't find it) this is a pretty decent list of what does exist: http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/speed/SSR.html

There are lots and lots of ways to fight it competently and win, even if the SSR isn't on your side. For instance, on 8A the average speed of traffic is 55 MPH and the road is posted at a 40. The limit should be around the 85th percentile, so that proves the posted one is not appropriate. The goal is to keep traffic going at the same speed, and a speed that most people would be driving at anyway. Arbitrarily posting lower limits is actually less safe.

    This is interesting too: http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/NMA/limits.html

so if I can get every one to drive faster on certain roads, I can force them to raise the speed limits? I was under the belief, that speed limits are based on how the road is populate and what not. Kind of like school zones and residential zones.
