Small tint job, seeking advice

    Looking to tint this brake light on top of my cap, seems like too small of a job for me to wanna have done, any simple solutions?

    This works well. I’ve used it quite a few times, but it’s hard to get a nice finish without sanding and doing a few coats. If you’re looking for it to be tinted very dark then I’d say it’s a good product. Just be sure to sand before and between coats with like 600 grit. If you’re looking for a light tint I’d just order some smoked vinyl on Amazon or something.

    Deff don’t touch it with 600. Sand it after you paint it with 1500 then 2000 and buff with a compound

    Does it at least illuminate red?
    Is it possible there was at one point a red cover that came off??

    I would be surprised if it came clear like that and if so also illuminates clear, IIRC by law the third brake like must be red...

    a strip or red lamin-x might work well
