    My apartment had a little carwash parking spot. I crawled under there with the hose and a brush not too long ago lol

    Going to try cleaning my engine bay soon. Figured if soak it all in simple green and hose it down. Or maybe try to hose it down and let the warm engine steam clean everything(hoping the water is coming out of the hose is warm and doesnt crack all my hot aluminium?)

    Not enough to have a build thread.
    I dont think your aluminum would crack. It handles the temp of combustion vs your 200F coolant. I pressure wash every diesel I work on. The heads and block are cast iron but there are "rocker boxes" that go between the head and valve cover that get hit with water and dont crack. My suggestion would be to hit your local pressure wash station. Douse it in degreaser like you planned. Then use the soapy pressure spray. Then use the pressure water to rinse. That's how I do grimy nasty diesels.
