Common. Check TSB's. You might be able to get it fixed

I am having same issue with my truck. I had them do the leafspring tsb but it did not fix it whatsoever. Next day it was squeaking. I haven't had time to bring it back to dealership again. Wonder what they will start to replace first.

Wondering the same. Had mine in for the tsb too. Few days later the noise is back.

    Maybe it's the body mounts.

Only every Tacoma made since at least 2005. Next to the easy to rot out frames, uber-lousy leaf springs are about the worst 'feature' of these trucks. At least capacity and durability wise.

In terms of noise, leaf springs have squeaked since the '20's. I'm sure there are many on this forum who have never owned a leaf spring car; the same crowd that panics when they find a vehicle that doesn't have a 'low fuel' idiot light.

Some folks have had dealers apply a correct fix and been happy, most have been back squeaking again in a couple of weeks. Often all the dealers do is hose them out and spray with lube.

Here's a couple of options for you.
