Many years ago I watched a video of a suspect throwing German Shepherd K-9 around like a rag doll. The man was very large and obviously strong. The officers were able to intervene before he seriously hurt the dog. Surprised we don't hear more stories like this.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, killing a police dog is a class six felony in Arizona that is punishable by up to a year in prison. The male suspect was taken to a hospital after his arrest, and police have not yet announced any of the charges he and his female passenger are facing.

Sounds like they need to SERIOUSLY look at their laws there!!! Should be the same as killing any law officer! DEATH!
