Curious how you tucked the leather boot in on the shaft like that?

 

Cut off the chrome piece (just attached by a small zip tie) and then tucked it under and zip tied it back.. The opening in the boot is the same as the shaft size.

 

Took all of 5 mins.

will it fit an offroad tacoma properly now? or will i need to modify myself?like how you said you need to chamfer it

 

I went ahead and chamfered all of them, so we shouldn't have anymore issues.

Does anyone have pics of a WC large shift knob? Thinking about getting one. And is it the same threads as a wrx/sti?

 

Went with the gen2 TRD cue-ball and love the look and feel. Muscle car kinda spirit.

 

I love how a heavy knob feels

 

Will try to post one tomorrow. I’m using a stock sti knob at ~270g and it feels good. Also have a WC Latheworks Titanium Teardrop at ~400g for the last few days trying to play with different weights. I’m shooting for that custom knob BREAKER makes because of that sweet knob adapter. If you do get a Latheworks one I recommend the BRZ if you want a shift pattern that matches
