Yeah, I don't usually drive too fast either. The truck wasn't exactly made to be a go-fast vehicle. I was trying to get ahead of a line of storms. Had already gotten hailed on and wasn't looking forward to having it happen twice in one day. After the delay in receiving my performance award we ended up waiting for the storms to pass anyway, which is what I should have done in the first place. Live and learn (and pay The Man) I suppose.

The inspector came, I failed and have to have a re-inspect. We didn’t a GFI sticker on one of the outlets. FML

 

Wouldn't he let you slap one on there before he left?

 

The fact it has the buttons isn't obvious enough

Generally not the way building inspectors operate.

You make "corrections" and reschedule inspection. They're royalty......

That happened to me with the appraiser, which was well after home inspector was done long gone for a few days.

My smokin hot realtor verbally let me know that guy was being a "douche" for worrying about chipped paint on a detached garage.

The building inspector has been cool af, but all the electric inspectors have been dicks.
