We use two tubs. One wash, one rinse. Rinsed dishes go on the roll up aluminum table to be dried and put away.
In camp we just store them under the trailer kitchen, on the road they store in the basement as a container for other items we use.

As for the number two subject, if we're out away from crowds we tend to do catholes. If the weather is inclement, we have a five gallon bucket and wag bags (or the reliant double duty bags ).

We had a flushable portable toilet but that was more of a pain in the ass.
First of all it took water, up to five gallons depending on the length of stay
Second when it was full, it was heavy and awkward to move or even separate the bottom portion to empty
Third, it has to be emptied and cleaned before moving camp. Granted you could empty it in a toilet, but I hated that part.

By the way, if any one wants a slightly used toilet, I know where you can get one cheap...

I use the Wedco style metal cans, and they do not leak or give off odor either. Like you, I bought new ones. I have extra gaskets, but have not needed them yet.

When I slept in the back of the truck, I took the fuel out - mostly to make room for me. ;)

When I was in the BOY Scouts... dont wanna rant about that right now... but When I was in the boy scouts we always used a three bucket meathod. First was hot soapy water, the second was warm clean water to rinse, and the third was cold water with a cap of bleach to sanitize.

Used Bins like this... https://www.amazon.com/Newell-Rubbe...=1528212159&sr=8-115&keywords=rubbermaid+bins ... to clean in make sure to label them, and they are stackable, and you can store your cookware in them if desired.

I was gonna get the 12 inch, but I only camp by myself, and my kitchen set up is only gonna be 11 inches wide for storage. I though about the feet, but I couldn't imagine what the would be for

The feet help with airflow under the dutch oven if you’re putting it directly on the coals.

Oh. Meh...I was scared they would break while offroading. That cast is brittle. In Australia we have to wrap any cast in towels then pack them away because all the corrugations will break them. They sell spun stainless ovens down there at 4wd supacenter, super nice but kinda exy..bout 70 AUS

For a cooking vessel I use a cast iron skillet. You can cook almost anything in it and there is no cleanup. Best of both worlds. Two bowls, two plates, and two sporks.

Yeah Christie usually uses the little lodge scrapers to get the bulk off sometimes you just have to wash. I know her skillet she uses for corn bread all you have to do is wipe it out with a paper towel it’s so seasoned. I’ve got a big lodge cast wok I’m having a hard time getting it seasoned good

Clean with a plastic scraper, hot water and a scrub brush, as needed. Never use soap - it will remove the seasoning.

A good place to get cast iron is garage sales. Pans look ugly, maybe have a little rust on them, and some folks get rid of them. Remove all the old seasoning, scrub off the rust, re-season, and the pans are good to go!

Cast iron will last many lifetimes.
