How much did the bass boat weigh that you need a Tunny instead of a Taco ?

loaded with gear and fuel it was right at about 5k. Tacoma would pull it but when running hundreds of miles and going to other states to fish the bigger truck just is a better application on a 20 foot bass boat I had and the room inside the crew cab for all my stuff and partner and his stuff

Same reason why computers are the size of wallets and not buildings. Things change, technology, wants, needs etc...

Take it easy there fella, the antenna ages the vehicle. The newer body just doesnt go with a visibile antenna asthetic.

Beautiful tundra. Love the cement color.

I am on the tundra forum too, pale_horse.

Great truck, congratulations! I had a Supercharged 2010 OR Crewmax and was sad to see it go (wouldn’t fit in our parking garage).

I also considered a Tundra when I was shopping for my Tacoma, but they haven’t really changed much since my 2010. They are incredible trucks, but they must be due for an update soon.

    At any rate, enjoy!

In case anyone is curious.. Build out for current 5.7 v8 Tundra engine is early 2020 and a Turbo v6 will be in 2020 Tundra. 5.7 v8 will still be available on special order only. I'm kind of anxious to see if the turbo will perform

All full size trucks still have this.

When I had my Tundra I used the Antenna to confirm I can park in places where ceiling was low. If it didn't touch the antenna I knew I was good. I suspect a lot of people use it for this purpose and glad it was there and probably why every other manufacturer still has it.

We have basically the same truck now, except my grill is different than yours. I got mine last month. What a drastic difference. The Tundra is awesome!!!

Funny thing is I didn't notice I had an antenna until it was mentioned here and I looked. It's black. I am just thankful its not chrome. I have the cement parts on order and will plastidip out the badges.
