I am new to this site but seen some excellent advice and pointers.
I am saving up for a tandem sea kayak for this summer and trying to find a decent roof rack that will not cost me an arm and a leg. Have seen many on Amazon and other sites but thought i would ask on here if anyone has got any recommendations/advice. Rather new Tacoma Pre Runner 2014 (35,000 miles) and I certainly dont trust myself fixing it on as likely eff it up.

    Thanks all in advance.

How long is a tandem sea yak? I’d imagine as Long as the truck, right? Consider a bed rack. I imagine highway speeds would destroy the roof mounts, as the roof is not rated for much.

Kayak is 12feet so yup, roughly the same size. Live close (ish) to the beach but looking at options (and cost effective ones). Thanks for your reply mate.
