Also super jealous of how much wheeling you have been able to do. Look forward to swisha. That washout looks awesome.

Uh huh, I have been saying how I had to learn how to wheel my truck again.

You have a different truck now.

Will be fun in Ardbeg fully locking it up to try it all out :fistbump:

what are you planning to do for insulation? or any at all?
I was looking into aluminum reflectix form Home Depot, or Norilco? but I guess there is a guy on TW from Toronto that was selling a group buy of his product SHOK MAT, and everyone is raving about it. Wanted to try it out but was wondering what you were planning on using

I have been using 2 blankets as cheap sound proofing for now, until I can scrape together some cashola for sound proofing. Thanks for the link to the SHOK MAT.

The way I have mine currently setup, the wife said its quieter than stock. So no rush for me, I just want to find the best product for the final.

1 blanket lays down where the seats used to be, and a thick comforter covers the back wall. Held in place with some small clamps, on 2 of the d-rings I installed back there.

Haven’t decided if I am going to insulate it since I am not sleeping in it. I figured right now it won’t get too hot inside the cap so everything in there is safe. Will see once I finish everything.

Honestly way to much for the quality. Already have cracked welds, just noticed the third brake light isn’t centered, rivets poking out, large use of tex screws (some of which are sticking out), rear door wouldn’t close.

They said they would warranty it but they aren’t going to warranty my time that’s for sure. Can get a buddy to weld everything and then I’ll fox everything else too. Don’t trust those dinks.

okie dokie time for an update...

The "wall" is almost complete. At this point I have to wire and plumb the compressor, wire the water pump, and finish a tire holder that bolts to the floor. The end is almost near.

So far the water pump, tank and lighting is looking okay.

Water pump is mounted on a 1/4' aluminum plate. The hose pickup can go into a jerry can on the ground or in the truck. the other end will be a coiled hose with what ever attachment I want. Everything is on quick connects so they can be stored. Can also see in this picture how the Air tank is pretty hidden

so far the setup is coming along

Thanks, and yes running the 100 watt panel on the roof of the truck which keeps the batteries at 14.6 volts throughout the day even when its cloudy (when the truck is parked). Helps when running the fridge when the trucks parked for long periods of time.

Wow man, your rig looks crazy now Peter.

I am going to have to ensure we dont park beside each other during swisha for camping, for I will not be able to stop drooooooling over that rig.

The back looks so damn professional, great job!

Appreciate it! It’s good from far but far from good. Wish I could have made it a bit cleaner. We will see how it holds up on the trails with all the vibration. I’m hoping I don’t have to go back and put nylon bolts on everything.

Still have to wire the damn compressor. Been procrastinating pretty bad on that one.
