Hey all, I know the Led conversion thing is a hot topic, but I just wanted to give a shout out to Xenon Depot. Those guys are awesome! I emailed them several times before I purchased because my dumb a$$ couldn’t figure out what I needed. They could not have been more helpful. I went with the HID kit for the low beams with the Philips 4300k, and then for the high beams and fogs went with the LED. That was their recommendation for the best light output. Today I called them with a few questions before I did my install, and again extremely helpful. I love my new lights, I honestly can’t believe how much better they are. The kits are high quality and install about as easily as I think you could make them. Anyway, I just wanted to say what a great job they did with these kits and to say if you are thinking about making the jump you can’t go wrong with Xenon Depot.

Is there a reason they said HID for the Lows and LEDs for the highs? Should you not do HIDs on both high/low?

I went with their H11 kit for the high beams and fogs. It was just their recommendation to go with the HID’s for the low beams and LED’s for the high beams. As far as aesthetics go, I can’t tell a difference when looking at it from the front. Since the low housing is the projector beam it is going to have a different look than the LED high beam and fog light. When I switch to the high beams, they were right, most definitely bright!

They recommend LED for your high beams because HID take 10-15 seconds to warm to their temp to output the proper brightness.

Thanks for all the kind words, @Boatdreamin. Glad to hear you're enjoying the new lights!

Any chance you have some pictures of everything in action you're willing to share?
