I've known to doze off while driving if I go too long... :anonymous:

How long of a drive is it from pick up to drop off points?

I was thinking about camping at the gold lake 4x4 campground. It's free and first come first served. Its right outside greaegle though.

Sounds like a close enough spot. Unless I'm not driving the google machine correctly.

Not a very long trail. Tends to move slowly, though and takes time to load and unload personnel and equipment.
Last time, we were clear from the church location around 1:00 PM and made Poker Flat from the north around 4:00 PM. Won't be doing that part again as I have also volunteered to follow the bus back to Sac with luggage should the need arise. No extra fuel or recovery gear with me.

And last time turned into a really fun 18-hour day trip with @tyfoon11 .

I'll be available all 3 weekends.

I believe @CrashN'Burn emailed him for me. If I get it installed, I'll also have a roof rack for carrying extra stuff

Yup, he just responded somewhat cryptically...

    "Hi Joshua,

    I got 3 from David."

    Sounds like I'll be doing 4th, 5th, and 11th.

Be nice to see ya again @tyfoon11. Promise you wont have to push my truck out of the snow again :anonymous:

I'm definitely in for the 11th. Trying to pick whether I'm helping on the 4th, 5th, or both. Basically doing whatever the warden will allow.

Ok guys, Jay has asked me to comprise a list of our entire group. Whether you have emailed him or not, if you plan on going on the 8/11 trip please pm me with the following info. Remember you must have seat belts for each camp passenger.
    Thanks.
    Info needed:
    Name
    Vehicle
    Color
    # of camp passengers
    Carry gear?

If there is no need for people to follow the bus back to Sacramento with luggage, I'd be down to head home via Poker Flat on 8/11. Attached files show what that looked like in 2016 with @tyfoon11

I’m thinking about it, but I’m trying to save space for the campers at lake hawley.
