    Everyone has one, that wants one. Happy camper here, yes I washed the black crap out for this pic, most of it anyway. FYI - I got this cap for my 2000 Z71 truck, soon after trading it in. Same cap as for the taco from autozone. Had to use my 3/8 impact to remove the screw, but used regular screwdriver installing this, easy as can be.

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
    Looks like two types of cap designs based on year. My 2011 has threads not a tab like in your pictures.

    Thanks Toyota. :facepalm:

    Time for a revision change to accomodate both designs.

    Same cap and problem I’m having

    Yeah I saw that and tried the threaded style on my truck but unfortunately it doesn’t close properly because the filler neck is different

    The threaded style cap fits great in the Gasshole, though.

    Yep. I have a 33070 which my truck calls for (notched cap) and it doesn’t fit, but the 06040 which I looked up w/o vin and is threaded fits the Gasshole and not the truck lol

    I've had mine for a week and 2 gas runs... First fill up (Oregon) we can't pump our own, gas attendant just let the damn cap hang. I got out and showed him what the black plastic piece on the door was for. hahahaha Second fill up at the coast, he got it right. It is a great product for sure. Thanks @mesojdm .

    I was wondering if I bought a threaded gas cap if it would fit the filler neck. You guys answered that question for me. That would have been too simple. You would think Toyota would have some kind of standardization on the caps. 1 size fits all, but again that would be too simple. That screw was a bitch to get out. I ended up drilling it out and used a self tapping screw in its place. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

    Thanks @mesojdm ! I stripped the hell out of the original bolt, with the help of some vice grips, a quick trip to fastenal and some anti seize we are good to go!

    Fast shipping! I ordered on the 3rd and it showed up today. Hopefully get it on in the next day or 2.

    Went out and installed it this morning. I guess I got lucky with the screw. I figured I would try loosening it for giggles and it came right out no lube or anything. It looks and fits good.

    Anybody tried modifying the gasshole to fit the gas caps that have a flange instead of threads? I’m thinking about trying it when I have time. Figured if I messed it up no big deal because it does me no good the way it is.
