Well I got the damn thing through best best buy and got the extra warranty because yeah I end up actually using it

 

It came from their old linebacker Sam Mills when he had cancer. It was his motto when he was fighting it.

But yeah I always feel weird saying it. Huge panthers fan. Both of my dogs and my wife have their lucky jerseys when we watch every game.

 

Hard drive is toast. Its dead Jim.

 

Most likely the hard drive is toast. It may be possible to recover the data, but I wouldn't count on it.

 

Fuck me just scanned the QR code and uploaded to Dell replace hard drive is the fix

I think it's time for @JimboAnz suggestion!!!!

 

Hard Drives aren't *that* hard to replace... its the whole reloading the Operating System and drivers thing after that is the PITA.

Hopefully that Best buy warranty works can't afford to get another computer that'll run what I need it to right now

 

If you feel comfortable try this: Pull the cover off the bottom of the laptop. Find the hard drive and pull it. Remove it from the enclosure and slowly kind of rotate it back and forth with a rocking motion. If it is a platter drive you may be able to rock it lose enough to get it to spin up.

 

Yeah nothing came in the box for that shit

 

I'll buy the carcass, I need a windows computer around for techstream since toyota here is dumb and wont turn off my seatbelt chime.

 

Going to take it and have the warranty I bought with it put to use so probably won't get the carcas back
