many have, myself included. and yes, it did make them rub, just had
to trim some of the plastic where it was hitting, no biggie at all.

    I used All-Pro's hub-centric spacers

Any documentation/pics of the trim you had to do? I searched the forums but best I found was 2nd gen, which might be similar but wanted to check with 3rd gen owners that have done it first hand.

Also I'm new to some of this stuff so this is probably a stupid question, but I assume 2nd gen wheel spacers work on 3rd gens just fine, is that correct?

I put the 1 1/4" SpiderTrax spacers on my 2016. They rubbed on the front factory mud flaps so I removed the mud flaps. No more rubbing. I was a bit underwhelmed at first, but now I can really see the difference.

I put Spidertrax 1-1/4" spacers on my 17 TRDOR DCSB. I did it because I put rock sliders with a kick out on my truck, and the kick out was the widest part of the truck. IMO it looked a little off, and I suspected that if I was sliding it against a tree... as soon as it passed the kicker it would touch the fender. Now the tires are close to even with the kick out and just past the fenders.

It changes the look of the truck considerably. Guys a work asked if I lifted it, as it changed enough that they noticed something was different. I was going to lift it a bit and get 265-75 16's, but now I'm just going to leave it stock height and still run the 265-75 16's.

Use Spidertrax. They have a good reputation. I have run their spacers on my Jeep far many years successfully. Follow the instructions and do the check / re-torque. Don't get lazy with that part.

Great info thanks man I'll definitely be looking into Spidertrax then. Btw you mentioned same wheel size, I assume you meant bigger wheels but you're going to keep stock size instead. Only consideration I have left is that I have a Sport, not Offroad like yours, and technically their approach angles are a bit different, so will just need to get some on there and see for myself I think. I've just never owned a brand new vehicle before and I'm so apprehensive to do any permanent body work such as the pinch weld if the spacers make the tires rub. I appreciate the info/experiences from you guys, it helps calm my nerves. ;)

1.25 front and rear. Amazon black hubcentric and paid 160 shipped. I've used this brand on other vehicles and no complaints, but you get what you pay for! Spyderyrax are the best but I've had great luck with these on other tricks. Torque your nuts every so often and before you wheel, invest in a nice torque wrench! Good luck!!!

Thanks Kicker! Exact info I was looking for! Did your tires rub? Did you have to do a pinch weld or similar?

If I run stock tires and wheels and I wanted to run some 2 inch spacers, would they rub on a 2017 TRD sport? No mud flaps

Just to clarify. You placed 1.25 inch wheel spacers on your stock height trd off-road with 265/75/16 tires and there’s no rubbing ? Was there rubbing before the spacers on the trails ?

I ran the spacers with the stock wheels and tires. Then I got 265/70-17 tires on FJ wheels that have even more offset. There was no rubbing before or after as that size tire fits all ORs. The wheel spacers did not cause rubbing.

    20180414_170902.jpg

I did go ahead and lift it, although the wheels and tires were on it before the lift with no rubbing on or off road.

Long shot. Does anyone run a 1.5 spacer? Contemplating 1.5 vs 1.25 on a 2018 dcsb or with 265/75 16 duratracs on stock or rims

I put them on my stock 17 TRD-OR and the first thing I noticed is how much more of an aggressive stance it took on. The next thing I noticed, was the way I could feel every GD bump on the road. Now mind you, it is on a stock suspension setup and everyone I know who has put these on has upgraded their suspension. The number one thing I am going to do is replace with the Bilstien 5100's, OME 887's and a 3 leaf pack in the rear. I want a bit higher and wider stance but if it comes down to it I will remove them if the ride does not get any better. Just saying.
