F#%K brake lines! Never again. I will hand tools to someone and listen to how colorful their vocabulary is.
One started to round off on me, luckily it was a bottom one, easily got it off with vice grips and tightened back up. The factory cranks those brass fittings down too damn tight!
The bottom of the fittings were belled out and the new lines didn’t want to go on. God I’m glad that shit is over with

Finally got the mk6 wheels done. The trd decals looks so much better than the 8 sprayed on the caps. Couldn't be happier.

Well made it to ACE today. They had two. Damn. Grabbed a third that's 35mm versus 40mm. Do you think that'd be sufficient?

Got my hitch all cleaned up. Wire wheeled, half ass sandblasted, sprayed inside with frame saver, primered 3x, and painted 3x over the course of this week. Also, wheel bearing/ hub assemblies came in today, was super gitty about getting them, got down to the point of ripping the bearing dust cover off only to realize I don't own a 35 mm socket  Saving it for tomorrow, drank a beer instead. Cheers.

upload_2018-6-7_21-10-57.jpg Was thinking about running something like this in the fender. I had a snorkel but replaced it with a volant intake with ram scoop.

It's one of those sockets I keep in the tool bag all the time. Essential for a trail fix.
