When your bike's suspension is better than your truck's.
Pike RCT3 with ACS3 Coil for the front and 11-6 in the back.

I mounted up some new Maxxis Chronicle tires, set up ghetto tubeless on my Surly ECR. The first ride on them was a 19 mile group road ride. They roll fast and quiet for as aggressive the tread looks. Also switched to the Finish Line tubeless sealant... I was using Stan's previously.

Nice setup man! Think I ran into you a few weeks back at Allatoona Creek in GA. You were on the Calling that day and I was on my Insugent with a Lefty Supermax and 11-6.

That Push fork kit on the fox 36 felt super smooth! One day... when I go back to a conventional fork, it will be hard not to pickup a used 36 and then send it to Push for their coil / seal upgrade.

I remember that bro. You were the dude that can wheelie for days! The Insurgent in the pic is my NorCal bike and the coil front and back is hella plush. You're going to love it once you get it on the front. I'm actually considering the 11-6 for my GA Calling if the Float X2 never gets released to the general public.

Did it every stop raining there?

I looked hard at that one. With with the fabric scoop that is crazy comfy, but it was a tough choice. I like the blockier look of the ergon saddles too.

I gambled on it and bought it based off reviews and so far its paid off. the deciding factor was it came in a color that matched the bike lol.

LOL, that's why I didn't buy the Ergon. REI only had the black and green one on hand when I was there, but the Fabric one was all black.

I actually had an Avy damper in one of my Pikes before but I didn't really feel it made that much of a difference over the stock Charger damper. The coil on the other hand, transforms the fork into a bump eating machine. However, it is heavier by about half a pound. On long, hard and rougher rides (say anything over 2 hours), I used to get wore wrists. That doesn't happen anymore.
