What made you go back to A/T’s?

 

i needed to buy trailer tires and wanted a matched set, but didn’t want to run 3 of the heavier mt’s

i don’t end up having all the time to offroad to warrant mt’s anymore. so the at was the best balance of all things considered.

 

I’m in the same boat, about to swap my newish STT Pros for something less aggressive. What size a/t did you go with?

Hey I just got new tires and wheels installed too, and going in for wheel alignment today. What is the caster, and why do you want it at that setting? Thanks a lot for the info...anyone else with the knowledge feel free to chime in.

 

Fox 2.5 w/ Icon RXT and Archive Garage Hammer Hangers (not on yet though)

 

simple answer - keep the tires off the firewall

 

OP, what color - MGM? In your your lower two pictures color looks great!

 

Thanks for the reply, I just dropped my taco at the shop for the alignment. They didnt mention anything about Casters, should I bring it up?

If you dont have UCA's you might not have much adjustment there and theyll just set it to factory.

 

Oh yeah duh, it might help if i tell you my setup:

BajaKits UCAs
Kings 2.5 front and rear
Deaver mini Leaf Pack
Method 307 on Falken Wildpeaks 285/70/17

 

adding + caster will help drive-ability as well as mitigate rubbing issues. I need to take my truck back and have it reset to 3.5-4º

Unless otherwise noted the alignment tech is going to set it to factory specs which is like 0º - 2.5º. Everyone here says to get as close to 4º as possible
