We as a family use an app called life360. we have set up a home geofence, and my sons school geofence. We do it to keep tabs on him, as he gets on the bus alone, and gets home alone most days. It alerts us when he leaves, enters a zone. it also shows where we all are at all times. I like it, we have nothing to hide from each other, it has never caused any stress in our life. If I get home and wife not home, I can take peek and see which mall she is at :D. Kiddo is starting to go out with friends, some can drive, its good to be able to know he is where he says he is supposed to be. If he ever disables it, he loses phone and is grounded, zero tolerance for that.

I have thought about these things for when the kiddo gets older, but part of me is like shit we didn't have that crap and if we lied about where we were the folks still found out and grounded us. Also with shared households that can be a little awkward. I mean I think it's cool but am torn about allowing her to feel like she has freedom when she gets older. It's a battle wanting to protect as well as wanting to give freedom. I'm torn on the choice right now.

Yep totally understandable it works for us but it may not be for everybody and I’m not trying to push it on anyone just giving an example of how we use it we find it beneficial and we don’t abuse it

Oh yeah, and BTW, RAMFORUM sucks balls. went over there yesterday and posted, inquiring about the 1500 ecodiesel, just inquiring, the mpg on that sucker intrigues me. 24-28 is common. anyway, the only response I got was via PM, and the dude told me this (quoted below). bunch of Hemi fags in there. the forum he recommended has a wealth of info.

"This Ram Forum is very Hemi biased, you'll probably get several replies from people discouraging you from buying one... keep in mind, they have yet to own one.
If your looking for a lot of information on the EcoDiesel:
    www.ram1500diesel.com "

Does anybody in here have first hand experience with the 3.0 ecodiesel? Not secondhand, or screw FCA, first hand experience......
