    2006 Tacoma TRD Access cab prerunner
    Finally picked up a 2006 Tacoma Access cab pre-runner 4 cyl with 115,000 miles on it. I want/need to do a lot of little things to make it mine. I have a problem that I thin is related to the fuel tank. When I take off or slow down moderately I get a rattle noise-it sound likes a bottle rolling for a second and then stops. The previous owner said he had the fuel sending unit replaced. It sound like the fuel sending float is moving and banging. Anybody out there have a thought? Thanks.

    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Check the exhaust heat shield mounted to the floor above the catalytic converter is not rotted away and rattling

    New revelevation-noticed I get the noise when the ignition key is on and I close the door-I do not get the noise if I close the door and ignition key is off. I am thinking when you turn the ignition key on it electrifies the sending unit in the tank (cause it sounds like it is coming from that area) and the float moves. Since my sending unit (or maybe pump) has been replaced-does anyone know if they are installed improperly you can then get a noise?
