    10" sub, OME881 on Bilstein's, 3" all-pro leaf springs with billies in the back, JBA UCA's, bed cover with custom LED lighting, k&n intake and DT headers, OEM E-locker in the rear. 32" BFG KO2 on steel D window wheels, suicide knob. rebuilt 3RZ w/ stage 1 cam and balance shaft delete . big 3 mod, all new suspension and body mount bushings. cat back magnaflow exhaust.
    what could I do to a w59 5speed while it’s removed from the truck to freshen it up short of rebuilding it?

    What bearings and seals should I for sure replace? What gear oil should I run in it? Should I open it up and check some synchro gaps or inspect gears and clean it out? I’m going to put in a marlin crawler shift bushing. Should I just take it in to a shop?

    I belong to the if it is not broke don`t mess with it.

    Different story if the front shaft has lots of play or it sounds and feels like it is full of rocks

    It either needs rebuilt or not Change one bearing on a shaft change them all .

    At that point may as well do them all.

    Bearing wear effects how the gears mesh

    Gear Oil is one of those personal things for years I ran 85-140 in everything

    It most likely calls for a API-GL4 75-90

    I’ll check the input shaft for play but I have no idea how it sounds since I haven’t ran it yet. I’m sure once I get it installed and drive it I’ll know if it needs a rebuild.

    well it feels pretty decent shifting through the gears. I’m worried about bearings and syncros. I know syncros have to have their gaps checked with the trans apart. Anyway to tell how those are without opening it up? I could open it up myself if I have to though

    The only way is to pull it apart

    Have You ever Had one of These Aisin Transmissions apart ??

    Now these synchronizer Rings might be different then what you are used to
