Dude it's not, you have nothing to grease. Prerunners have no zerks.

Are you mixing them in a blender?

It might make a mess in the kitchen if you take the top off with it running.

Their additives work against each other, so you end up with a mixture that is worse than any of the individual greases.

I'm in the market for a decent grease gun now. Looking at the Lincoln's or alemites. Me and grease guns never get along. Trashed another cheap one yesterday for various reasons.

When I see the data that drivelines are failing due to grease I will consider a different lube. :anonymous:

^Pistol grip is nice: one hand squeezing the grip, the other hand pressing the coupler to the zerk fitting.
On my truck, the front driveshaft U-joints have the zerk fittings coming out of the center of the cross. Even the basic coupler on my Powerfist grease gun is a tight fit between the yoke and the cross. Does the bulky locking coupler fit all U-joint locations on your truck?

Been using Chevron on everything for a long time. No issues so far. I’ve used it to repack wheel bearings when I’ve ran out of actual wheel bearing grease. I buy locally in cases. I use a lot of grease and use it up fairly quickly, so it usually doesn’t sit too long before I’m reloading the grease gun.

Where does the grease go? You must have a ring of grease on the underside. Seriously, I've always replaced OEM u-joints and ball joints with non-greaseable versions. I'm not going to argue that they are stronger and last just long as their counterparts ... the primary reason is I'm simply too lazy to grease em. But, if I believed greaseables were superior, I would jump ship.
