I amazed at how loud an arrow is at those long distances. Maybe there is just something wrong with my arrows haha.

Well there's something to be said about keeping it simple. My Father in Law shoots a long bow, no sights, no nothin', and always makes fun of our bows with "training wheels."

I am ALL IN! I switched to a left hand bow. It’s been an easy transition. The hardest part is putting on my wrist release. The rest; minimal issues.

I am weaker on that side. I think more shooting will cure that.

I switched because my dominant eye is my left. I wish I had stared lefty. Save me some headache. Crazy how clear my pins and targets are. I am loving the improved vision.

One of the issues was the Dloop was not tied in tightly and could rotate about the string. Spent Saturday morning at Lancaster Archery. Cams were slightly out of time. Once that issue was resolved and the loop was tightened down, the bare shafts hit right with my field points. Still right on the edge of being underspined. Planned on buying a dozen Axis 400's, tech said go home shoot some more, see how your broadheads fly now. If there are still issues with hitting right, come back and we can get some 340's. I did shoot a bare shaft 340 prior to any changes the tech made and it was still hitting 4-5" right.

Shameless plug for Lancaster Archery..... When the bow was set up in April, I had an Axcel ArmorTech HD sight installed. Didn't like it much once I got home. Sight ring was not bright, nor were the pins. The sight level had a single line instead of the normal two lines. I mentioned that I really wasn't happy with the sight. The tech asked which sight I wanted and I told him the Montana Black Gold Widowmaker. He asked if I had the original packaging. Sure do. Swapped the sights out for me. When I went to leave, he stopped me and said we owe you $45 for the difference in sight price. I figured since I had shot the bow for two months I would just eat the difference. THAT is customer service.

So I got a chance to shoot a bow with a Limb Driver Pro-V this weekend. Needless to say, I want one now. I like how easy they are to run.

Two more stories then I'll drop the LAS love....

Back in the late 90's I had a Hoyt Raptor Excel. I had the harnesses replaced and there was some stretch. So, I wanted it fixed and I wanted it fixed now. Jumped in my truck, drove to LAS not even thinking it's Friday and they close at 6pm. Got there a little after 6 and they are closed. Crap!! The owner, Rob Kaufold, is leaving calls out to me and wants to know what I need. I tell him it's cool I can come back tomorrow. It's only 15 minute drive. He insisted that I come in and he could take care it.

Little more recent...In 2013 I was having trouble getting my sons bow, a Browning Micro Adrenaline squared away. So we drove down to LAS on a Saturday at 3pm with the intention of having them take a look at it and leaving to pick up the follwoing week. Two techs spent the next two hours, working on his bow, coaching him. They stayed an hour past closing, on a Saturday, to get his bow straightened out.

    Been a customer since 1984.

My buddy switched to lefty a few years ago and had no problems. Not so for me. I am left eye dominant also but I tried to shoot his bow and didnt work out. Very hard to draw being right handed and it didnt feel "right". That is probably why I cant shoot well past 30+ yards.

Now. Lefty I can see the pins and target all the way to 100.

Pretty easy to set up. Going up North to really see what it's got. Can't wait to get up there. Gonna shoot bows and fish for bass and pike. Probably some good Bourbon thrown in there to end the day.
