I managed to back into spare tire carrier on my neighbors RV a few weeks ago, which resulted in a brand new tailgate.

The body shop did a great job painting the replacement tailgate, but I have somehow managed to put a pretty decent gouge right in the cupped area under the tailgate handle, while the paint was still pretty new.

I recently hauled some stuff with the tailgate down, so I can only imagine I kicked up something on the road. I probably should have taken it to the bodyshop and shelled out yet another couple hundred $$, but I decided to do a quick DIY.

I masked off a .5" x .5" square, sanded out the damage, and proceeded to hit it with some duplicator touch up paint. It looks terrible, but it's up inside the cup for the handle. Something like this would probably hide it, but I can't find anything the shape/size to fid up under the tailgate handle on a 2nd gen. Anyone got ideas?
