Pretty much just a preference, correct on the stealth mode. The matte black are seen much better than a glossy black for sure. I just do it to keep the black theme all around.

 

Hilarious..I use it so CFO can’t see what mods I wanna do next an see the secret mod account..which is empty now.

So...I might not be making C&C after all. Just got notified that I have family coming in next weekend and am needed elsewhere. Definitely cutting into my taco time.

Also...did y'all see that weekend forecast? Looks like the drought is about to end.

 

It’s on the todo list towards the bottom gotta get a locker of sorts an upgrade my speakers an seat covers, gas tank an rear diff skid, ugh never ends.

Just tint over it if it’s not bubbling makes it a little darker.

 

Try an look up some type of solar or uv blocking tint can’t remember the exact name makes a big difference. It’s kinda pricey though.

 

I tinted mine myself with some from autozone nothing special just kinda dark I like it. This was 3rd week I had the truck.

 

Aside from bacon, what do you guys want me to bring to this C&C. I have a colman grill and a cooler.

I had Huper Optik's Nano-Ceramic on my WRX and that was the bee's knees. It's pretty pricey but worth it. It still gets hot if it is sitting out in the heat but once it cools down inside, it stays cool. I didn't have the windshield tinted on the WRX but I got a quote for the truck and it'll be $600 for Huper 30 on all of the windows and Huper Klar 80 on the windshield. You'll have to find a good tinter for it too because if they don't have much experience with shaping the ceramic tint it'll get fingers in it.
