    I feel like that is alot of $ for something that can be made. It looks like a LAN cable and a piece of metal. I might try to make one, and attach to a bolt that is above the roof console.

    I run this mount for my Yaesu and like it a lot- allows for easy visibility while driving without having to take your eyes off the road.

    Good call. Other than the teardrop shape of the rearview stem. Either way, at this point its about convenience and getting shit done before the trip . Still haven't gone through my crap and I'm camping this weekend so my prep time is diminished .

    Yeah but the one you posted is also round and I know 1st hand that it works. I've had a radar detector mounted on one of these there for years
