I think there’s a huge group going up there Friday night and camping until Sunday or something guys coming from all over. Hopefully it doesn’t rain but they’re calling for it

 

There's a group camping at the top Fri-Sun, and another group doing a day trip Saturday. We are meeting at Sheetz on Main street in Harrisonburg at 830.

The Atlanta Takeover event is over and it was HUGE. I don't how many trucks but it was well over 100. I met @boogie3478 and his lovely wife. Took lots of pictures that I'll post when I get home.

One down side and it ended on a sour note. The organizers had announced that the door prizes would be given away at 3:00. You had to be present to win. Everyone got five tickets and you could put them all in one jar for one prize or put a single ticket is different jars and maybe win different things. And the prizes were some big-ticket items too. A set of wheels, an off-road bumper, and Yakima rack and some other good chit.

But it was getting hot so they moved the drawing up to 2:00. Without telling anyone. So a lot of people missed out including me; their ticket might have been drawn but since they weren't present, they missed out and the prize when to the next ticket drawn. I had put mine in the jar for the Yakima rack, and that was one of the first ones given away.

If one of my tickets was drawn, I'll never know.

 

Think I saw you up on top. Figured you were with the taco group.
