    So I have seen a lot of these posts where people never come back and declare the outcome, I'm not going to do that. The insurance company called today and declared the truck a total loss. There was over $24,000 in damages. The frame was out of spec by 1.5 inches and would have had to be completely replaced. I am very relieved. I have gap insurance plus a policy that pays an extra 20% of the cash value of the truck if it is totaled. USAA has been really great to work with. Thank you to everyone that gave input as my family and I went through this situation.
