Not sure if it broke during extraction or if this was the problem. I just set the broken pieces on top

 

Yeah I made sure to piece it all back together to make sure I had everything.

 

Trying to get the CB installed in the center console. Had to put an order in for this 90° elbow for the mic cause the cover on the center console won't close with the regular mic attached. Going to have to do some trimming at the bottom of the center console, too. Should have gotten a smaller radio.

Funny enough I already have that part done. I bought a new padded leather armrest cover and looks like it needs a pro to install it.

 

Does it look like it staples in or does it have long, plastic runners that attach to a metal rail?

Really no room at the time. Before I bought this house in 2010, I had lived in apts or rented houses with no garage. I left the trim shop for G.E.

I actually made more at the trim shop at the time because it was "piece work". Some weeks I would see some high end muscle cars, Sometimes it was grungy old tractor seats.

Put a plastic rear window in John Mellencamps "58" Chevy vert. Kenny Arinoffs Vette and a butt load of other high end clients.

Some weeks I'd take home $6k, other weeks $2k.
But my employer didn't offer insurance so I had to pay a private ins company like $2k a month for my ex wife and myself.

 

Yea. It was a private little shop. The owner was a huge drag racer back in the day and had a great clientele list.

I was also NAGA (national auto glass association)
back then as well. I was sent to trade school for both. Doing about 5 yrs apiece for a 10 yr stint in the automotive business.
Both were great gigs when I was in my 20's.

 

Decided to take a late afternoon bike to the beach and surf. Bad choice. Much regret.
