Hey, so I was cruising around ebay looking at m90 superchargers when I just had a quick thought.

Would it be possible, instead of making a custom offset pulley to just add a spacer of the proper thickness to the snout? Pics:

This is the input shaft of the Eaton m90. You can see the 3 straight pins on the left of the shaft.

Those 3 pins interface with the 3 pins on the rotor via the coupler with 6 holes seen in the center of this pic:

So possibly you could machine a spacer that goes between the rotor housing and the snout to bring the pulley into proper alignment, and all you would need to couple the input shaft to the rotor would be a thicker coulper.

I suspect that prototypes could be made quick and dirty with maybe a band saw and a drill press. Certainly a lathe would help with the coupler and a cnc mill would make a beautiful spacer but perhaps this could even be mocked up in wood or 3d printed just to prove the concept.

I think machining these spacers would be simpler and require less engineering than a custom offset 7 rib serpentine pulley.

Does anyone know exactly how much the difference is for pulley alignment from the 3rz kit to the 2tr? How thick would a spacer have to be? Is it like .25" or more like 2"?

Has anyone mounted the 3rz SC on a 2TR yet? 10/10 would buy that spacer if someone has.

Any more progress with fitting the 3RZ supercharger to the 2TR-FE? Very interesting line of work getting this going. Is the CAD file available?
